US LAB TEST

In July 2023, independent testing of Impulse Storm technology fire extinguishers was carried out in the US Fireaway company laboratory, manufacturers of STAT-X fire extinguishers. The tests were conducted according to the UL 2775 standard. Two main conclusions from test:

  1. Impulse Storm technology outperforms STAT-X technology by a factor of two in all parameters.
  2. The production of Impulse Storm technology fire extinguishers is simpler, more cost-effective, and safer than the production of STAT-X fire extinguishers.

The test results have been uploaded to ChatGPT-4 with a scientific database plugin for analysis.

ChatGPT general conclusion.

Fire extinguishing efficiency: The fact that half as much Impulse Storm (mixture 1) is required per cubic meter to extinguish a fire compared to STAT-X (mixture 2) may indicate a higher fire extinguishing efficiency of Impulse Storm. This could be related to the chemical properties or the ability of Impulse Storm to produce a denser extinguishing cloud, which better suppresses the flames.

Toxicity: Both Impulse Storm and STAT-X contain components that can potentially produce hazardous combustion products. However, since less Impulse Storm is required, it is expected that the overall quantity of combustion products and the potential toxicity would be lower compared to STAT-X.

Burning temperature: Both products contain components that can induce a high burning temperature. Nonetheless, since less Impulse Storm is required, it is hypothesized that the total burning temperature would be lower compared to STAT-X.

Thus, based on these premises, it is suggested that Impulse Storm is a more preferable option for extinguishing a fire compared to STAT-X. It necessitates less material, which theoretically results in fewer combustion products, a lower burning temperature, and potentially higher fire extinguishing efficiency.
