This was a successful preliminary test under UL 162 standards with using 23 liters AFFF foam. Preburn time was 60 sec. After 40 seconds of spraying, the fire was extinguished. After complete extinguishing, the system continued to discharge for another 50 seconds. So, for extinguishing, it took only about 15 liters of foam or 65% of the norm written in UL 162 were used.
After removing the foam, the gasoline was covered with a thin film of foam that could not be removed and our attempts to set it on fire were useless.
I must remind you that the Impulse Storm system remains unique.
100% autonomous for 10 years, does not have cylinders under pressure, does not have pumps, does not have water and power sources, not needs foam chambers and nozzles, does not have any moving parts.
Foam bubbles have 0% oxygen.
